Organisation of the ADVANCITY cluster
- The general assembly,
composed of all the members of the association
- The board of
directors, three colleges:
- Businesses: 12 members
- Academic institutions:
6 bodies
- Local authorities:
6 members
- The central office
ensures the representativeness of the colleges, 12 members, including
a President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary:
- The President:
Michel COTE, Deputy Managing Director of Bouygues construction,
- The Executive
Vice-President: Michel RAY, Technical and Innovation Director of
EGIS,
- The Treasurer:
Dominique PERRIN, President of the Polytechnicum in Marne-la-Vallée,
- The General Secretary:
Gérard EUDE, President of Seine-et-Marne développement.
- The scientific
council, which is divided
into Quality Certification Commissions. The Scientific Council assesses
the scientific and technological projects and evaluates their precompetitive
character. It is responsible for the formulation of advice and recommendations.
- The new skills
and training council,
composed of scientists and industrialists selected for their independence
and their competencies in scientific and technical education or vocational
training.
- The strategic
initiative committees.
Each of these committees is chaired by a representative of business,
or of a local authority or developer. These committees are responsible
for:
- Establishing strategic
research road maps;
- Generating proposals
for research projects;
- Accompanying the
projects submitted to ADVANCITY until they mature,
- Seeking new partners.
The operational
team, responsible for
the association’s organisation, is led by Thierry DELARBRE,
General Manager appointed by the board of directors.
